Generally, I have found Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to be highly effective. However, I also incorporate aspects of other therapy modalities when it benefits my clients. **My focus** My client population includes children, teens, and adults. I enjoy making connections and work well with clients of varying ages. We work together as they face life challenges that can bring on depression and anxiety. I aim to develop a trusting relationship in which clients feel comfortable sharing themselves. **My journey to mental healthcare** My journey to becoming a social worker began when I worked in a school as a teacher’s assistant. It was eye-opening to see children face challenges at home that impacted their personalities, learning, and functioning. That is when I realized I wanted to help children deal with difficulties. This later expanded to teens and adults. Helping people has always been an innate part of who I am. It is rewarding to see people achieve their goals, grow as individuals, and feel better about themselves.
