My names is Ester and I have been in the mental health field for over 30 years in NY. I am married and have 2 ,daughters also working in the mental health field. My education is as follows: I attended Brooklyn college and NYU for my masters. I enjoy working with all ages and people from different backgrounds. My areas of expertise include helping many individuals cope with symptoms of anxiety and depression as well as trauma and bereavement. I also have worked with couples and families struggling with different issues. My approach to treatment includes using evidence based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy and behavior activation as well as mindfulness. My personal philosophy: In order to achieve goals you need to be aware of behaviors / people that are obstacles and make the changes that are needed.
