Let's face it - our day-to-day lives can be difficult, stressful, and complex. So of course, we will be impacted on some level by the systems around us. It is a part of what makes us human! I truly believe that a deeper understanding our emotions and experiences can help us move through whatever we face. Acquiring the skills and the community to help us navigate difficult moments is possible! It is truly an honor to be a part of that journey with clients.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I utilize music with therapeutic intention to build resilience and empowerment. I also utilize talk therapy to connect with clients, offering a space for verbal processing and conversation. Adopting both a Relational and Systems Theory approach, I strive to meet the client where they are at in order to collaborate on treatment goals and interventions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy can feel uncertain and overwhelming, especially at first. I commend you for doing your due diligence in researching and exploring your options. If after complimentary consult, we believe this is a good fit, we will schedule your intake. I will gather information around your symptoms, your background, history, etc., and formulate a treatment plan that works for you. While diagnosis is important and will be part of the therapeutic process, I will continue to diligently assess and regularly check in with you to make sure we are still targeting symptoms and working towards your unique goals. Ultimately, I prefer to show up as real human in the therapy space, as I believe that true healing happens relationally.
