Getting to know Dr. Eugene Belilovsky
Hi! My name is Eugene. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, trauma, or other similar concerns-or if you just want to work on growth and self-improvement-and value a non-judgmental environment and a holistic approach to counseling, we may be a great match.
I hold a PhD in Psychology from Atlantic International University, a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University. One of my specialties is integrating a combination of training in mental health counseling, personal life experience, concepts from health coaching, mindfulness, and non-religious spirituality. I strive to help clients overcome their struggles and create change in their lives, moving toward their highest potential. I believe that gaining insight into oneself is key to flourishing mental health and self-actualization.
I employ approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) (including Exposure and Response Prevention), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness/awareness, and non-religious spirituality/transpersonal methods, tailored to the unique needs of my clients.
I offer an international multicultural perspective, having lived in Ukraine, the U.S., and England. One of my areas of interest is working with expats and digital nomads.
Additionally, I welcome communities such as LGBTQ, polyamorous, single by choice, asexual, and sex workers, among others.
In addition to English, I am fluent in spoken Russian and have a basic conversational level in Spanish.

Euene is simply amazing. He's patient and always making our sessions feel like a safe space where I can freely be myself. He really listens and tries to come up with ideas to help whatever your'e going through. I'm so thankful that I was able to find him. He's definitely very professional and knows what he is doing. Eugene has helped me so much since I began seeing him to help treat my OCD. Not only has my symptoms gotten better, they very much alleviated. I think Eugene is an impeccable therapist because he goes as far as to follow up and send links and worksheets to help/ give you something to work on until you see him again. He has really helped me be progressive towards my mental health!
