Gene Kivett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). He received his Master’s degree in Social Work from Kansas University and his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University. Gene has over 25 years of experience as a counselor, working with individuals, couples and families. He has experience treating: PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, pornography addictions, relationship issues, marital conflict along with providing stress and anger management counseling. Gene has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Gene has a special passion for helping those struggling with life transition and career issues. While Gene’s counseling approach is secular, he is also comfortable providing Christian Counseling if the client seeks that direction.
