Getting to know Eva Anderson

I am Eva Anderson, PhD, LCPC, LPC, NCC. I obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2020 and my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University in 2024. However, I have been working in the mental health field since 2012. I am a Rogerian, and I focus on being present and meeting my clients where they are without any judgments. I genuinely believe that cultural humility is essential in the therapist-client relationship, meaning that I am fully aware that I will not know everything. I am willing to learn from my clients, as learning should be a lifelong process. As a first-generation immigrant and minority, I am passionate about multiculturalism and serving a diverse population.
