Getting to know Eva Chocron

As a relational therapist, my goal is to help you build healthier dynamics. I am here to help you identify patterns and replace negative thoughts. Do you believe that the communication between you and your partner needs improvement? Are you a parent seeking support for your teenager, child, or family? Is your child struggling in school, or is your teen acting out? Are you feeling overwhelmed with responsibilities? Is depression or anxiety preventing you from living the life you want? I am a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Spanish, with extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with individuals, couples, and parents. My style is open-ended, creative and inclusive. I utilize play, art, and other creative means to help my clients. I have a therapeutic as well as a psychoeducational approach to therapy. I use evidence-based techniques to help you achieve your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Finding the right therapist is hard! I work collaboratively with my clients and place value on creating a judgment-free space for them to explore and find solutions that work. I am passionate about being able to respect my client’s autonomy while guiding them through their own process of well-being.
