“Eva is an incredible therapist, and I’m really grateful for the support she gave me during a low point in my life. She met me exactly where I was, without judgment, and made the whole process feel comfortable and safe. Her ability to create a calm space made it easier for me to open up and work through what I was dealing with. I always felt supported. I would highly recommend Eva to anyone looking for a therapist who is compassionate, easy to talk to, and genuinely cares.”

Getting to know Eva Gonzalez Carey

Hi, I’m Eva, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I work with adolescents and adults across Massachusetts who feel stuck, on edge, or can’t seem to get a break from their thoughts. I have over 4 years of experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the impact of past experiences. I help clients make sense of what they’re experiencing and how it all connects, so they can get more out of the tools they’re learning. I offer a supportive space where you can feel understood and not judged while doing meaningful work. If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to book a time that works for you—we can take it one step at a time.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use evidence-based approaches like CBT while keeping sessions real, engaging, and down-to-earth—with room for humor when it helps. I help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and build tools that feel practical and useful in your everyday life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After booking, you’ll receive a welcome email with the next steps. In our first sessions, we’ll get a sense of what’s been going on and start connecting the pieces, while also recognizing your strengths and what’s already working. You don’t have to have the right words or have it all figured out. We’ll talk things through, make connections, and take it step by step in a way that feels manageable.
