Getting to know Eva Lucht

Hi, I'm Eva, Have you been struggling to keep up with your daily activities, not having a good balance in life? Or have you been troubled with anxiety, unable to come to rest, having trouble sleeping, and your mind racing? Are your relationships difficult to manage, and do you feel your life is out of control? Have you lost connection with your partner? I believe that a fulfilling life is what people strive to achieve. To attain that goal, you might employ many different strategies, some more effective than others. I help you learn to manage thoughts and feelings so you can feel more in control of how you handle your life and relationships. Together, we can explore the issues that keep you from having a more fulfilling life. So you might begin to utilize the insights and skills you learn the right way, I embrace a client-based approach, focusing on your needs and immediate concerns. I provide a safe space for you to share your concerns, explore new options, practice new ways, grow, and heal. Whether you are dealing with depression or anxiety, feeling overwhelmed with daily life, or having relationship problems, I am here to help you. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work hard with my clients to set up appropriate goals and a plan to reach those goals. In my sessions I invite my clients to open up and share their concerns as well as keeping in mind the behavioral changes that need to be made to reach the goals we have set in therapy. I will not use sessions just to check in and chat for the time but focus on the problems that brought you to reach out for help. You will develop an ability to contemplate, pause and to respond more intentionally rather than being reactive, and you can expect to manage your problems more effectively.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
