Evan Monse, MA

Psychotherapist
OR
Evan Monse is a Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Diana Latorre. Evan earned a Master's in Applied Psychological Science from Pacific University. Every person has amazing inner strength to overcome challenges and an innate desire to live a meaningful life. Depression, anxiety, and trauma can make us lose sight of our strengths and desires, but that can change with the right support. My practice is grounded in being compassionate, non-judgmental, and providing you with the necessary tools to bring balance to your mental health. Together, we'll focus on changing life patterns to improve general wellness while also addressing the underlying causes of your challenges. A healing journey begins with a single step, and I want to walk alongside you as you go down that path. Reaching out can be hard, but it's worth it because you deserve to feel better. I look forward to meeting you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide telehealth video and phone sessions (I do not provide in-person sessions). My availability ranges from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. I offer a free, 15-minute phone consultation so you can determine if we will be a good fit for therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I view therapy from a person-centered perspective. We'll tailor sessions so they address your individual needs and lived experience. We'll use different therapeutic approaches to focus on the relevant aspects of your life: emotions, problem-solving, relationships, environment, and your mind-body connection.
