Getting to know Evan Moore

My approach to therapy centers around one thing… you. I make therapy an eclectic space, where one day you can vent, another we meditate, and another we're unpacking history or finding solutions toward your goals. In doing so, I hope to create a space where you can be your most authentic self; if you can do that with me, then you can do it anywhere.
I specialize in working with young men struggling with identity, masculinity, anger, and their role in the world. More generally, I love working with people of all stripes who are grappling with life’s biggest questions, with depression and anxiety, and with stressful life transitions.
I grew up in Houston, Texas, and received my Bachelor’s from the University of North Texas and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from New York University. As someone who went to therapy at a young age, I know the benefits that therapy has had in my life. I hope to foster that same self-discovery and mindfulness in the people I work with.
