What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a licensed clinical Social Worker, and I have been in the field of social work and Psychotherapy for over 30 years. If you’re feeling anxious, sad or uncertain as to what to do to feel better I can help. Working together we will be able to uncover the issues of concern where you may be feeling stuck. I will assist you with developing healthy coping and decision-making skills to reduce and eliminate anxiety and feelings of depression. My therapeutic style is empathetic, supportive and engaging. I offer individual, family and couples therapy and have experience working with clinical issues, such as trauma, depression, anxiety and sexual/gender identities. I work with young adults, families, couples, transgender and other members of the LGBTQ+ community. and I am EMDR & Sex Therapy trained.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s needs. I offer talk therapy and specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma-focused work and Sex Therapy, providing a safe space to explore issues related to sexuality and relationships.
