Getting to know Eve Ahrens

At most times a coach, mentor and counselor, at some times a harpist and horse trainer, and at all times a wife, friend and mother, I have dangled at the end of many ropes, been rescued and been a rescuer, and am a self-proclaimed expert in hope, hard choices and making the most of the mundane. In addition to a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology, I completed a year long certification program with the Allender Center at the Seattle School in Narrative Focused Trauma Care and have additional specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy and behavior modification. As a Professional Counselor and Board Certified Life Coach, I worked in the US and internationally with individuals, groups, high schools, universities and churches as a counselor, coach, teacher, speaker and facilitator. I use a unique blend of cognitive, somatic and story work help engage mind, body and heart to facilitate integrated and lasting change. Specializations include working with emerging adults, adults in transition, spiritual deconstruction or disillusionment, spiritual abuse, ministry burnout, leadership, identity development and high functioning depression and anxiety.
