Hello, I'm Evelyn. My clinical approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, where we focus on replacing harmful belief systems with truthful beliefs that foster healing and growth. However, I believe that each person is unique, so I use an eclectic mix of theories to tailor my approach to your individual needs. I have a particular passion for restoring and improving marriages. I recognize the immense value of the family system in our society. My approach involves connecting spouses with positive input rather than dwelling on problems. I also teach tools and skills to help maintain a healthy marriage. Beyond that, I counsel adults aged 26 and older on a variety of issues, including grief, anxiety, time management, problem solving, stress, conflict resolution, trauma, and financial management. I hold a Master's degree in Education in Counseling and Human Development and am licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My goal is to provide a supportive and understanding environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.
