Getting to know Evelyn Medina
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 7 years of experience. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from Florida International University. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds seeking help for a wide variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, lack of motivation, career difficulties, parenting challenges, family conflicts, and emotional regulation. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help my clients identify and challenge faulty thought patterns and develop coping strategies that support their journey toward wellness.
What should a new client know about working with you?
In our initial session, I will work collaboratively with you to create a treatment plan in which we will use as a guideline to help you achieve your goals. We will work together focusing of feelings and struggles that you would like to uncover. I will help you learn positive coping skills that will help you toward your desired change.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
