Psychotherapist
GA
Hello, I'm Ezekiel. For more than 30 years, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate through the challenges of depression, anxiety, chronic illness, phobias, obsessive thoughts, PTSD, and other debilitating conditions. Many of my clients come to me feeling discouraged and disheartened after years of talk therapy, medication, and other interventions that have not provided the relief they seek. Through my own experiences, extensive training, and clinical practice, I have come to understand that the root of our struggles may not always lie within our own stories, but rather in the stories of our parents, grandparents, and even our great-grandparents. The latest scientific research supports the idea that trauma can be inherited, passing its effects from one generation to the next. This phenomenon, known as inherited family trauma, suggests that pain does not always dissolve on its own or diminish with time. In my practice, I focus on uncovering these deep-seated issues to help my clients find lasting relief. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree, and I specialize in a wide range of areas including addiction, anger management, ADHD, children's and adolescent mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, gender identity, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, military/veteran support, multicultural/diversity issues, phobias, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, sex/intimacy issues, sleep disorders, spirituality, stress, and trauma. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer or require remote sessions. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, aiming to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore and address the underlying causes of your distress. Together, we will work towards understanding and healing the traumas that have been passed down through generations, helping you to break free from the cycle of inherited pain. If you are ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to uncover the roots of your struggles and pave the way for a brighter, more fulfilling future.
