What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means entering a supportive, collaborative space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I take a compassionate and down-to-earth approach, meeting you where you are and moving at your pace. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, identify your strengths, and build practical tools to help you feel more balanced and in control. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. Therapy is a process—we’ll celebrate progress, work through challenges, and create space for growth along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, I focus on getting to know you—your background, goals, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore what’s been challenging and identify what you’d like to change or better understand about yourself. Together, we’ll set clear, achievable goals and develop a plan tailored to your needs. A typical session is a mix of open conversation, reflection, and practical strategies you can use in daily life. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help you gain insight, manage emotions, and build confidence in your ability to handle life’s challenges. My goal is to make each session feel collaborative, supportive, and focused on your growth—always moving at a pace that feels right for you.
