Hi there, I'm Faith! Making the choice to pursue therapy is a meaningful step, and I admire your willingness to see how partnering together can help identify and pursue your goals towards health and healing. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and eating disorders. I use a client-centered, solution-focused, and collaborative approach to therapy. I wholeheartedly believe that each person's lived experience and needs are unique, and therefore, the partnership created through counseling should reflect your individuality. My approach I use a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), Exposure Response Prevention(ERP), as well as Trauma-Focused CBT(TF-CBT). Based on your unique needs, part of our work together will be discovering what is most helpful for you. Your goals and progress are my primary focus, so together, we’ll identify challenges and celebrate successes to help you move towards your goals. My focus A lot of us can identify with feeling anxious, depressed, and having difficulty with major life changes. I believe we are built to live in community with one another, and knowing how to navigate difficult circumstances is something no one should have to learn how to manage alone. Whether you’re working through trauma, building coping skills, or exploring your personal goals, I’ll work with you to create a plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable. My communication style Clear and compassionate communication is a strong value of mine. I prioritize creating an environment free of judgment, and I welcome feedback from you. I approach communication with curiosity, empathetic listening, validation, and assurance. My journey to mental healthcare In my early teens, I learned that my deep compassion and empathy had a place in helping others talk through their struggles. I have always.
