What should a new client know about working with you?

I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Person Centered Therapy. I meet clients where they are at and help them reach their goals and provide coping skills and tools they can use on a daily basis. The first few sessions are spent getting to know why the client is seeking therapy, pertinent life events and any culturally relevant information.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I strive to provide a warm and empathic environment where my clients feel comfortable to share their concerns and collaborate with me to work on their goals. I also like to check in to see where my client are with their progress and discuss any obstacles that are preventing from reaching these goals.
