Getting to know Farrah Bonnot

Hi everyone, my name is Farrah and my pronouns are she/her/hers. My passion lies in helping survivors of trauma, and I am deeply invested in serving LGBTQIA, polyamorous, consensual non-monogamy, kink, and all sexual minority communities. I am also sex work allied and provide non-judgmental support for individuals who are, or have been, in the sex industry. I believe counseling is a collaborative effort between the clinician and the client. My methods center on a CBT-based approach to reaching personal goals, processing depression and anxiety, with a special focus on establishing and maintaining boundaries. When not seeing clients, I help foster cats in my local community while pursuing my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy. When school doesn't steal all my time, I also enjoy playing tabletop RPGs, video games, reading, and playing roller derby. I am also working on completing a pair of full tattoo sleeves that are awesome.
