What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in a client-centered approach to therapy, where an individual is recognized as the expert of their own life. My therapeutic style is collaborative, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I draw from evidence-based modalities such a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and solution-focused therapy to tailor treatment to the unique needs of each client. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgement. My core values are empathy, collaboration, empowerment, cultural Humility, ethical practice and continuous learning.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I understand that psychotherapy involves discussing sensitive and personal topics. Sessions will focus on past experiences, current challenges, and future goals. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help gain insight, develop coping strategies, and work towards positive change. It requires trust and confidence between the client and the therapist.
