Reaching out for help takes courage, and I strive to make the process feel as comfortable and supportive as possible. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered while we work together toward meaningful change. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, perfectionism, low self-esteem, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, communication difficulties, and life stressors. Many of my clients struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling unsure of themselves. Together, we focus on building self-awareness, strengthening confidence, and developing healthier ways to cope with difficult thoughts and emotions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I utilize evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Inner Child Work to help clients challenge negative thought patterns, regulate emotions, and build effective coping skills. With children, I incorporate art and play therapy, and with couples, I use the Gottman Method to improve communication and build connection. I also believe in the importance of tracking progress and celebrating growth. We will work together to create realistic, attainable goals and adjust them as needed throughout the therapeutic process. We will check in every week on small goals to be set. Clients often describe me as approachable, empathetic, genuine, and calm. I prioritize your comfort in sessions and regularly check in to ensure you feel safe and supported in the work we’re doing. I work best with individuals who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, struggle with self-doubt or people-pleasing, and want to feel more confident, balanced, and secure in themselves and their relationships. Fawn was great! She was supportive, positive and encouraging for me to branch out and try new things like journaling etc. which I've started incorporating into my daily life. This was my first time talking to someone like this, but with the amount going on in my life, I knew I needed it. Fawn made it easy and comfortable while helping me reframe my thoughts when overwhelmed, setting goals and get to a positive place where I feel I can support myself with anything life throws at me. I will absolutely see her again if I ever feel I need the support and guidance to get back on a healthy track.
I came to Fawn in a time of crisis when I just needed to see someone, anyone. I was so grateful that she was available to speak with me the next day, and really spent the time just listening, and occasionally asking questions to prompt my thinking and show that she was listening. She gave me helpful tools to disrupt unhelpful thought-patterns - very much what I needed. I've now been seeing Fawn for several months, and I appreciate that she still listens carefully (always!), pushes me to evaluate my thinking patterns, and sets concrete goals for the coming week that allow me to constructively deal with whatever it is I want to focus on.
Fawn is great! She is so friendly, genuine and positive. I like our sessions because she has such a conversational and open way of talking that makes you feel comfortable and that you can be honest and yourself. I’ve been seeing her for the past few months and have already learned so many new ways of viewing situations and have started being able to think about how and why I’m feeling certain ways and changing the way I think about things to become more aware of how I’m feeling and ways to cope.
I truly appreciate Fawns time and efforts as she is open and looking to give the best care for her patients. She structures mental and physical actives to help in aiding you through your tough crisis. I would recommend Fawn for sure as I am happy that I have worked with her for sure.
It’s my first time doing therapy and I couldn’t be more thankful that I have Fawn as my therapist. She has made me feel so comfortable, safe, and understood. Fawn does a great job of listening carefully, only interjecting when needed in order for me to fully express what I need to express. She makes her sessions very comfortable, and not only offers great feedback on how to cope, but manages to be very empathetic and understanding as well.
