What should a new client know about working with you?

In my therapeutic background, I have worked with diverse populations, including African Americans, Hispanics, Caucasians, and biracial individuals ranging in age from 5 to 70 years. My clinical experience encompasses assessing and treating high-risk individuals, including children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, I have facilitated mental health groups for both adolescents and adults. My theoretical orientation includes several therapeutic approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I specialize in addressing a variety of issues, including anxiety, stress-related disorders, depression, self-esteem, mood disorders, psychoeducation, and personality disorders.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session lasts up to sixty minutes and examines the client’s mental status, disorders, and issue severity. I will assess clients for potential risks of harm to themselves or others. Clients will also be informed of confidentiality policies to protect their personal information.
