I am a seasoned clinician with forty years experience. My specialty is women's issues including recovery from abusive relationships, perinatal mood disorders, divorce recovery, parenting, and life transitions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have personal experience with recovery from an abusive relationship. I have created a 7 step recovery model to get past victimization the client has experienced. I am trauma informed and certified in EMDR.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typically, there's check in and I meet the client where they are based on clinical assessment and treatment goals. There are 8 phases in the use of EMDR. I assess what phase the client presents and provide appropriate interentions. I am supportive and fairly directive to help clients feel safe and more stable.
