What should a new client know about working with you?

In my sessions, I use emotion-focused Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing(MI) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) to effectively help the client overcome unwanted behaviors that inhibit them from living their best lives. I also use art and expressive practices to help my clients work through their trauma and symptoms.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have been a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor since 2020. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Art and Psychology from The University of Findlay (2016) and a Master's degree from Capella University (2020).I am passionate about equipping my clients with the tools and techniques they need to achieve their goals. As a goal-oriented therapist with a sense of humor, I value the quality time it takes to support you in reaching your life goals. I stay current with the latest research and developments in therapeutic skills. I would love the opportunity to connect and see if we're a good fit for working together.
