Felicia Rouse-Hayes, LAMFT

Psychotherapist
NJ
*This provider does not accept any Medicaid or Medicare plans* I help individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges-whether that’s grief, anxiety, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck in growth. In therapy, I provide a supportive, culturally sensitive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help you uncover your strengths, build healthier connections, and move toward a life that reflects your values. I bring a warm, nurturing, and direct presence into sessions, creating a space where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported. My hope is for therapy to be both grounding and empowering, a place to connect with your strengths while exploring new paths forward. Outside of therapy, I love food tours and museum visits with family, game nights that bring out my competitive side, quiet moments when the world feels too loud, and mystery movies-especially when I try to solve the plot before the characters do. I know seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. My approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental, honoring your experiences while guiding you toward solutions that feel right for you. If you're ready to take the next step toward clarity, renewal, and growth, I’d be honored to support you on your journey. The provider is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with license number 37FA00041600, practicing under the supervision of Frank Quinones, LCSW (License #44SC05975000).

What should a new client know about working with you?

I support clients through grief, relationship challenges, anxiety, and major life transitions. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), tailoring my approach to each client’s unique story and goals. My warmth, cultural sensitivity, and collaborative spirit help clients uncover their strengths and create meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

You don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone—I’ll meet you exactly where you are, with compassion and curiosity. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and create practical, meaningful steps toward the life you want to live. I was drawn to this work because I believe deeply in people’s capacity for healing and growth, and I hope to help you feel more connected, resilient, and aligned with your values.
