Hi! I'm Femina Patel, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I believe that the best way to empower individuals is through counseling. I specialize in providing counseling services to individuals and families.
My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I have extensive experience helping individuals improve their mental health. I have worked within many community mental health agency settings and am familiar with clients who have a range of diagnoses, from anxiety and depression to SPMI (Serious and Persistent Mental Illness).
I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment for my clients to share their thoughts and feelings so they can discover their strengths and learn the skills necessary to overcome their challenges. With my help, you can achieve the mental and emotional well-being you need to reach your goals and lead a happy and fulfilling life.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
