Psychotherapist

I’m a certified EMDR therapist and IFS-trained practitioner specializing in work with teens and adults. I help clients heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and attachment wounds using an integrative, compassionate approach rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe that everyone holds innate wisdom and the capacity to heal—my role is to guide clients back to that core Self. In EMDR, we process distressing memories that may be stuck in the nervous system. This method allows clients to reduce the emotional charge of trauma while building adaptive beliefs. I combine this with IFS, which helps clients understand and connect with their inner parts—protective, wounded, or reactive—with curiosity and care. Together, these methods create a powerful path for healing and lasting change. With teens, I offer a space of acceptance, helping them manage anxiety, various issues, and family conflict. They often respond well to IFS, which validates their inner experiences. With adults, we often explore childhood trauma, relational patterns, and parts that hold shame, fear, or grief. My work is also grounded in somatic awareness and a strong therapeutic relationship, ensuring that each client feels safe, supported, and empowered. I continue to deepen my skills through consultation and training, and I bring presence, warmth, and attunement to every session.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a therapy experience that is warm, collaborative, and grounded in deep respect for your inner world. I specialize in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), two powerful approaches that help people heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and the effects of relational wounds. Whether you're coming to therapy for the first time or returning after a break, I create a safe space where all parts of you are welcome. I believe that symptoms are not signs of something wrong with you—they’re signals from parts of you that have been trying to cope, protect, or survive. We’ll gently explore these parts together, with compassion and curiosity, so you can understand their stories and begin to heal. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting; therapy is the place where you’ll build that understanding step by step. EMDR helps process painful memories and stuck emotional patterns, allowing the nervous system to release what it no longer needs to carry. IFS helps you connect to your Self—the calm, confident core within you—and from there, build a more compassionate relationship with the different parts of you that have carried pain, fear, or shame. I work with both teens and adults, and I adapt my approach to meet your unique needs and pace. You’ll never be pushed to go further than you’re ready. I prioritize building trust and creating a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. Our work together is about more than just reducing symptoms—it’s about helping you feel more connected to yourself, your body, your relationships, and your sense of meaning. Healing is possible, and I’m here to walk with you on that path.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with building a safe, trusting relationship. We explore your goals and gently get to know the parts of you that need care. Using EMDR and IFS, as well as other interventions that feel right, we process painful memories, reduce symptoms, and foster healing from within. I move at your pace, integrating somatic tools and mindfulness to support your nervous system. Our work is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on lasting, meaningful change.
