What should a new client know about working with you?

My practice is deeply rooted in multicultural awareness and social justice values, creating an inclusive, empathetic, and empowering environment for all clients. I integrate my expertise in trauma-focused therapies and cognitive-behavioral strategies with an understanding of the mind-body connection, cultural influences, and systemic factors that impact mental health. I customize treatment to meet your unique needs and goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When I work with clients, I embrace a compassionate and collaborative approach uniquely tailored to your needs. I completely understand that starting therapy can be a significant step, and I’m dedicated to fostering a warm, welcoming environment where you truly feel seen and heard. In our first session, we’ll spend quality time getting to know each other. I’m eager to listen to your story, explore what brings you to therapy, and discuss your goals and aspirations for our journey together. This initial conversation is crucial for me to understand how I can best support you in a way that aligns with your values and feels genuine. As we continue meeting, we’ll work together to face life’s challenges and cultivate tools that encourage healing, resilience, and personal growth. Each session will be a thoughtful blend of reflecting on your thoughts and emotions, unpacking any patterns that might be holding you back, and practicing effective techniques. I’ll ensure we proceed at a comfortable pace so you feel safe and supported every step of the way. My heartfelt mission is to empower you to reconnect with your strengths, enhance your self-compassion, and inspire meaningful change in your life. If you’re ready to embark on this journey, I’m here, excited to walk alongside you!
