Hi, I’m Francheska! I am a licensed independent social worker who utilizes a client centered approach to therapy, using CBT & ACT techniques to support individuals navigating symptoms of depression and anxiety. I work with adult clients experiencing adjustment disorders, grief, anxiety and mood disorders by creating a supportive, no judgement space to explore their experiences and develop practical coping strategies. I help clients build resilience, manage stress and reconnect with their values. I strive to create a calm, supportive, non-judgmental and collaborative environment where clients feel safe, heard and respected. My goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, so clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. I approach goal setting as a collaborative process, guided by whats most meaningful and relevant to each client. Together, we identify areas of focus and break them down into manageable, realistic steps. I check in regularly to make sure goals remain aligned with the client's values and evolving needs, allowing for flexibility and growth throughout our work together. During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming and conversational space where we'll begin getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you to therapy, your goals and some background to better understand you experiences. Our first session is really about starting to build a connection and helping you feel supported and understood.
