Hello, my name is Franchezka Boyer! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I am fluent in Spanish and English, providing individual and family therapy to children and adults in need. My academic background includes earning my Bachelor's degree in Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and completing my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Since then, I've worked in various clinical settings. Some of my strengths are patience, compassion, empathy, and the ability to build rapport, along with a great understanding of interpersonal and familial relationships, assisting those who want to make a difference in their lives. My therapeutic skills involve being open to different counseling methods and strategies, incorporating them into my personal counseling techniques and approaches.
I provide my clients with a safe and supportive environment, working with them to overcome weaknesses, traumas, and any barriers that prevent them from moving toward a healthy lifestyle. I specialize in working with children, adults, and families, addressing areas involving depression, suicidal ideations, anxiety, phobias, personality disorders, stress, PTSD, behavioral issues, anger management, bipolar disorder, ADHD, impulse control, abuse, addiction, eating disorders, low self-esteem, divorce, communication issues, marriage issues, coping skills, loss/grief, and more.
I am here to assist and support you by offering the best of my personal experience, professional knowledge, and practice. You will confirm this throughout therapy, which relies mostly on my listening skills, rapport, empathetic personality, experience, knowledge, and a person-centered approach that guides every therapy session we share.
