Getting to know Franzie Giordani

I strongly believe in the human capacity to overcome and heal. I use Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Transpersonal Psychology to help adults address PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger issues, co-dependency, relationship and vocational concerns, personality disorders, crises, and a variety of other challenges. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from National Louis University, Chicago Campus, and a Bachelor's degree from DePaul University, Loop Campus. It is my belief that with proper assistance, there is nothing we cannot cope with or overcome. My job as your psychotherapist is to support you on your healing journey.

Franzie Giordani has helped me far more than any previous therapist, and I've seen five. She has a lot of different approaches to address trauma, but most importantly, she really, really hears me. By this I mean that don't have to explain difficult things -- a hint or reference is enough for her to understand what I need at that moment. She is flexible and goes out of her way to accommodate my schedule. I am so grateful to have found her.
