Hello, my name is David Dodge. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boise State University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Eastern Idaho. I offer statewide services via telehealth, working with both adults and youth who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues resulting from stress and/or trauma. My practice utilizes cognitive-behavioral techniques, trauma-informed care, and strength-based approaches.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy focuses on creating a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can embark on their growth and healing journey. I emphasize a highly collaborative, non-judgmental space that promotes respect and understanding. The therapeutic interventions I frequently employ include Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My style is welcoming, accommodating, and personable. Working with me is relatable to speaking with a trusted friend who accepts you for who and where you are in life. I strive to be authentic and compassionate in every interaction.
