Frederick Fox, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
My orientation for counseling is to help improve or repair whatever is not working as it should in your life. Your issues are my only focus. I will help you better understand your problems, identify pathways to near-term change, and design functional steps to transition to a more positive, secure, full life. I have enjoyed a varied 40+ year career in all aspects of rehabilitation counseling. I hold a Master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas at Austin. I am now solely focusing on behavioral counseling, achieving excellent outcomes for clients I work with for 60 days or more. My condensed life story is one of being an introvert, an inveterate early-years reader, physically large and strong body type, and instinctively accepting of all people on their individual merits. I have personal experience with intolerance.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I give homework for completion after the session to support: reflection, investigation, planning, greater detail. My goal is to facilitate your resolving the emotions, decisions and conflicts which are impacting your positive life experience and future expectations, your sense of control/participation in your life and your relationship with your past events, people, decisions. Creating forward movement/a sense of progress in the life my client is what my counseling has produced. The details of what occurs during counseling is different for every client but the emotional dynamics are universal.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
