Fred Hudson, MA, LPC has 25+ years of experience in the mental health field, including tenure at a community mental health center where he worked with adult clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and with a wide array of mental health and psychosocial challenges including depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, trauma, grief/loss, tobacco addiction and chronic health conditions. He is empathetic and person-centered and has an eclectic approach including incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Fred works with adult clients (age 18+). He celebrates diversity and inclusion and believes in the inherent dignity of all persons; his passion includes working with the African-American community, working with the LGBTQ+ community, working with those impacted by HIV/AIDS, and working with those impacted by chronic health conditions.
Fred earned a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Webster University (St. Louis). He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri, is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), is a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist, and holds a National Certificate in Tobacco Treatment Practice. He is affiliated with the American Counseling Association
