What should a new client know about working with you?

I have a holistic and integrative approach to healing and therapy. I hold in mind that not one healing modality fits all, and that most talk therapy was built in Western philosophy. I am focused on building client strengths and confidence, and helping clients view their problems in a way that empowers them to take action instead of feeling like frustrated victims of their life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with clients by offering a free 20 min video consultation. In your consultation, we’ll go over your reasons for seeking treatment, your goals for therapy, your past experiences with therapy, background information about myself, and scheduling logistics. The next step is to book your intake session where we will begin our work together. In this session we will solidifying your goals and create a plan for how to get you where you want to go. I offer both in person sessions and telehealth sessions. Depending on your goals we may begin with talk therapy, using a narrative approach, or EMDR therapy. Together we will discuss all the options and make a plan that is right for you.
