What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is warm, supportive, and non-judgmental. I meet you where you’re starting at. My priority is to help you feel safe and understood, so you no longer have to face things alone. I believe the most important thing about therapy is finding the right therapist-someone who makes you feel seen and validated. This is why I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe feeling safe is the most important aspect of the therapeutic relationship. I find it most important to adapt to what would be most helpful for you. We work as a team. I've been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy in which we explore how our early interactions influence our current relationships. I incorporate ideas from attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, the neurobiological impacts of trauma on the body, and the subsequent somatic work. I look forward to connecting with you!
