I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment wounds, relationship issues, divorce, life transitions, grief, codependency, boundaries, religious trauma, and recovery from emotionally abusive or narcissistic relationships. What should a new client know about working with you?
Clients should know that I create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where they can show up as their authentic selves. My professional background as both a therapist and victim advocate has given me extensive experience supporting trauma survivors and individuals navigating complex life transitions. I also understand the challenges of balancing relationships, parenting, family responsibilities, career demands, and personal growth. My goal is for clients to feel safe, accepted, hopeful, and more connected to the life they want to create.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I begin by understanding the client’s story, current concerns, relationship patterns, strengths, and goals. Together, we explore what may be contributing to distress and identify healthier ways to relate to themselves and others. Sessions may include EMDR, CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, attachment-based work, and practical tools for emotional regulation and boundaries. The process is collaborative and focused on helping clients build confidence, self-worth, and healthier relationships.
