Getting to know Gabrielle Adovasio

Take what you know about therapy... and throw it out the window. We don't do that here. Yeah, technically I went to school at Youngstown State University to earn my Master's in Social Work and learned all those models and techniques. And yes, we will try some of that here and there. Whatever you're finding most comfortable, that's what we will stick with. They didn't teach sarcasm or dark humor, yet it seems to find a way into sessions most of the time. Bottom line is-I want to help you reach your goals your way-the way you're most comfortable, your version! I never want you to feel you need to censor yourself or feel "judged" for the stuff that crosses your mind (I promise you aren't the only one thinking it anyway). I do not believe "one size fits all" about... well, anything really, but I especially don't think it applies to the therapy setting.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Sessions are 50-55 minutes in length. Insurance and private pay options are available.
