My life revolves around inspiring adults to reconnect with their passion, direction, and aim in life. I believe in fostering an environment infused with kindness and creativity where we can explore life experiences and future dreams together. As a counselor and coach, I empower my clients to design changes that lead them towards a more creative and valuable life. Here's a brief about my journey. My childhood was filled with a passion for music, and I was fortunate to have parents who embraced my interests, leading to my first piano. This experience taught me the significant role music plays in emotional liberation and personal growth, expanding one's heart in unique ways. Raised in New Jersey, Hawaii, and South Carolina, I pursued my undergraduate studies in New Hampshire. Since then, I've lived in various wonderful places such as Massachusetts, New York City, Texas, Hawaii (yes, it's as captivating as it sounds), and Georgia. Now, I divide my time between Georgia and South Carolina, alongside my English husband and our loyal dog. But what led me into the world of counseling? It's really my fascination for people and the joy in helping individuals who feel stranded in life regain their momentum. My grad schooling introduced me to the phenomenal pioneers of family therapy, individual and group therapy, addiction, and trauma. Having completed my studies with a practicum at an autism school, I was introduced to the brilliant realm of Positive Psychology. Post-grad, while working in addiction recovery, I discovered a newfound affinity for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). While this surprised me (I've never considered myself a behaviorist), ACT quickly became a preferred approach, alongside Life Coaching, which I loved enough to earn my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. In essence, my work is driven by the three areas of Positive Psychology, ACT, and Life Coach. If you feel I might be the right fit for your journey, don't hesitate to connect with me.
