Hello! My name is Gabrielle "Gaby" Larson. I approach therapy from a humanistic perspective, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques including mindfulness, expressive arts, and highlighting the strengths and resources individuals possess. I work to create a therapeutic environment that is comfortable and allows individuals to feel safe exploring their vulnerabilities. Each person is different and deserves unique care based on their needs. As a humanistic therapist, I focus on acknowledging the different identities clients hold and how these impact them on both personal and institutionalized levels. I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University. I have experience working with domestic violence clients, sexual assault survivors, active duty military members, and veterans. I have treated clients facing trauma, anxiety, depression, abuse, sexual assault, relationship conflicts, grief, life transitions, and more. Clients are in control of their therapeutic journey, and I am here to provide support and potential pathways of exploration. I believe every individual should be met with non-judgment and a space that allows every part of them to be seen and celebrated. Healing is a journey, and I am here to walk alongside you throughout yours!
