Does it feel like your mind is always running, but never in the direction you want it to go? If so, you're in the right place. I work with teens and adults who want therapy to feel both supportive and practical. My focus is on giving you real strategies you can use in daily life while also creating space where you feel understood and supported. My approach I use evidence-based approaches, but I keep them practical and focused on what works in everyday life. That might mean learning how to catch unhelpful thought patterns, gently facing fears in a supportive way, or building habits that help you feel more in control. When it comes to anxiety, I often use mindfulness in ways you may not have tried before. Not sitting in silence, but practicing how to interrupt spirals and bring yourself back into the present moment. Whatever we work on, I’ll always explain the “why” behind it so you feel confident and supported. My focus I specialize in working with teens and adults who are navigating OCD, social anxiety, general anxiety, and ADHD. I use assessment to guide treatment goals, so we stay clear on what matters most and how to track progress. Collaboration is central to my work, and with adolescents, I often invite parents into the process when it is helpful. I also take a bigger-picture view, looking at the systems and situations around you, so we can find practical ways to ease challenges and create lasting change. Motivation is an important part of therapy, and I will work with you to strengthen it so that our time together feels both supportive and action-focused. My communication style My communication style is warm and down-to-earth, and I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves in sessions. At the same time, I believe growth often comes from being gently challenged, and I will encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone when it feels helpful. I value open and honest dialogue, so I welcome feedback and adapt my approach to what works best for you.
