Graduated in 1978 from the University of Utah with a Master’s in Social Work. I have many years of experience working with all types of mental illness and substance abuse. I see patients from age 16 to older adults. I am an eclectic therapist who tailors the treatment modality to the patient’s history and current level of functioning. I use breathing, meditation, and relaxation techniques. I enjoy doing couples counseling and family counseling. I have worked extensively with depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and general maladaptive behaviors, including perpetrators of sexual abuse. I am currently honing my skills with gender identity disorders. I enjoy the challenges of working with most diagnoses.
