Getting to know Gail Roeshman

Hello and welcome to the practice of Gail Roeshman, LCSW. Thank you for your interest in me as your provider. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey, I have Masters degrees in Social Work, Art Education, and Special Education as well as certificates for Clinical Supervision, Thanatology (Palliative and Hospice Care) and Play Therapy. I have been an Adjunct Instructor in Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley, both online and onsite, providing coursework in several higher education settings, teaching special education, assistive technology, and supervising para-professions in the field. Additional important areas of focus in my practice have been in the arenas of divorce, family dynamics, relationship issues and life transitions. The complexities of relationships and long lasting impact of change creates a constellation of challenges that benefit from support, objectivity, and understanding.

Whether you are working on individual issues, coping with family conflict or relationship challenges, gender issues, chronic medical concerns, transitioning through life stages, or looking to enhance the happiness that has eluded you, I can offer support. My training, experience, and approach supports focused, compassionate, nonjudgemental and targeted change. I offer a safe, nonjudgemental, supportive emotional environment, partnering with clients to find solutions, create peace, address challenges, and encourage independence. I use a person centered, strength based approach as the foundation for practice. I work with individuals and couples. I am family systems, solution focused oriented.
