Hello and welcome! I'm Gail, a licensed professional counselor in the states of Colorado, Wyoming, and Kansas. I am also a licensed addictions counselor in the state of Colorado. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including residential, inpatient behavioral health, crisis assessment in the community, emergency departments, outpatient, intensive outpatient, and addictions. This diverse background has allowed me to gain experience with a broad range and severity of clinical issues, particularly in areas such as depression, anxiety, addiction issues, and complex trauma/abuse. Additionally, I have experience working with relationship and family conflict, first responders, and adolescents. I would describe my style as warm, supportive, and engaging. I believe in a collaborative approach and am ready to walk beside you on your journey to make meaningful change. Together, we can establish concrete goals and identify the steps needed to help you overcome your current challenges. My aim is to ensure that you have the skills necessary to make the changes you desire, all within a supportive environment where you can explore anything that isn't going well. In our sessions, I primarily use evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, and EMDR.
