Getting to know Ganime Nazif

I started as a Mental Health Specialist in 2009, and have since worked as a clinician within the Judicial System, Government Residential Programs, and alongside First Responders out within the community to provide counseling to; LGBTQ+ individuals, Domestic Violence, and Sexual Assault victims. After obtaining my Master of Social Work from Aurora University, I continued my education for an additional 2 years to study conditions related to chronic chemical misuse, PTSD/trauma, and related acute health conditions. I completed my 3rd Internship at Des Plaines, IL Ascension Holy Family Medical Center, Keys to Recovery in 2015, and accepted a Clinical Supervisor Position in 2019, where i provided NASW approved Supervision to Counselors. I assisted administration with the opening of a new program, Saint Michaels House, for Police Officers, within the Chicago region, Wisconsin, and central Illinois, struggling with Chemical Misuse and PTSD
