Hello, and thank you for checking out my site and considering me to support you and your loved ones! My name is Garreth Pfennig and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW. I am a proud member of the recovery community and have been sober since 2010. I received my Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Houston Downtown in 2013 and my Masters of Social Work from the Graduate College of Social Work (GCSW) at the University of Houston. While attending the GCSW Trauma Fellow and a GLOBE Behavioral Health Youth Fellow. My education and training was focused on working with adolescents. I have experience working with incarcerated young males and their families. I also have extensive experience working with adolescents and their families in both a residential and school settings. I became a therapist to help people improve their lives and to be a positive support and guide for adolescents as I believe that this a incredibly significant time in their development. My style when working with clients is very relaxed, client centered, and solution focused. I like to use a lot of humor and focus on my client's strengths when I am working with them. I believe that therapy should be a positive and productive journey that focuses on solutions and strengths. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, British television, studying other cultures, fishing, and cooking. I also really enjoy learning. I would be very happy to work with you and your loved ones to help support you have more positive outcomes in your life!
