Psychotherapist
CA
I help you better understand and manage your feelings in ways that bring greater direction, happiness, and love to your relationships and your life. Whether your challenges are big or small, long-term or recent, I can help! As appropriate, you may work with me as an individual, couple, family, or others. Together, we will: 1) look closely at how you perceive the problem that brought you to therapy 2) explore your earliest memories of key figures in your life (alive or deceased) to better notice when and how they might be affecting you now, for good or ill 3) become more aware of and understand your feelings earlier to make wiser decisions 4) learn to be more mindful in your life and in our sessions with the help of a ?tri-brain meditation? I am also professionally trained to help you with: ? issues or conflicts related to spirituality and religion ? performance anxiety, particularly in sports but also in other areas I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and am a fully licensed therapist with 10 years of experience. Please note that I am NOT affiliated with any insurance companies and CANNOT be paid directly by them for my services. If you have a PPO insurance policy, you might be able to get reimbursed in part or in full for your payments to me. Whether insured or not, you will find my fee very reasonable. My rate is $130 for a 50-minute session via Zoom. If you like what you read about my approach, I hope you will consider the value of investing in your well-being through my services. If you decide to book an appointment, PLEASE contact me by phone BEFORE our first session to: ? better prepare for our session ? complete a state-mandated intake form ? make payment for the first session I look forward to supporting you on your journey through life. More information on payments and coverage

READ THIS FIRST ABOUT USING INSURANCE for your psychotherapy! Carefully study what is covered and what is not covered by an insurance provider before deciding whether to seek or use insurance for psychotherapy. You might find that it is wiser to just go out of pocket than using insurance. Here are some potential factors to consider in making your decision: • Dealing with insurance company agents can be very confusing, contradictory, and time-consuming; many companies subcontract to other companies when dealing with mental health issues and it's hard to tell sometimes if you're getting correct information • Many if not most insurance policy agreements involve your paying a minimum amount of money “out of pocket” for services (a “deductible”) before you are covered more completely, in part or full • Your payments to your company’s provider might not reach the deductible before your term ends and you start payments towards the deductible over again in the next term • Some policies place a limit on the number of compensated sessions you can receive from one of their providers • The amount of money that you pay to me out of pocket might be close to if not equal to what you would pay to one of your company's providers Know that I am NOT affiliated with any insurance companies and CANNOT be paid directly by them for my services to you. IF YOU HAVE an insurance policy which is called a PPO you might be able to get reimbursed in part or in full for your payments to me. Whether you are insured or not, you will find that my fee as a fully licensed therapist with 10 years of experience is very reasonable. If you like what you read about my approach to therapy, I hope that you will consider the value of going out of pocket with my services. My fee is $130 for a 50-minute session via Zoom. Gary E.
