Welcome to Whole Hearted Therapy! Some life experiences create open wounds that can have a paralyzing impact on the way we see the world, interact, or make meaning of it. Does this lead you to shy away from intimate relationships and struggle with boundaries with friends and family? I provide a safe and compassionate space where you can be fully seen and heard, explore with curiosity, and receive support on your journey to well-being. I am an EMDR-trained clinician and bring a trauma-informed approach to my practice. I have more than a decade of experience working with adults, couples, children, and families. I have specialized training in the Advanced Process Model, Mindfulness, and EMDR. I currently facilitate T groups at Stanford Business School and work as a clinical consultant for some local nonprofits. I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, a Master's in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mumbai. Having worked through my own trauma and insecurities around my body, gender, and diversity in therapy, I understand how difficult it is to bring these issues into the therapy room. I bring sensitivity and compassion so individuals and couples can explore, introspect, and make meaning of their experiences. Transcending and living a full and wholesome life is possible.
