FUN FACT: Believe it or not, I used to turn bright red as soon as she heard the word ” sex”, “penis’ or “vagina” Today, you can hear me light up with confidence in using these words daily in conversation with clients. Another fun fact: my family used to call me a “prude” countless times growing up. Now, many of them turn to me to answer all the uncomfortable sex questions (usually in private). During my sex therapy training at the University of Michigan, I heard the director say, “Talking about sex will change the world.” This profound message continues to resonate with me each day as I help guide and support clients towards greater empowerment within themselves, and in their relationships. With over 15 years of experience working with general mental health issues, my goal is to normalize talking about sex. As an expert in the field of sexuality, I want to help people live more passionate and fulfilling lives. My clients have reported increased confidence in being able to communicate thoughts and feelings related to the elephant in the room. Learning how to approach the elephant in the room in just the beginning to building something new. In session, you’ll find my style to be warm, respectful, honest, and kind. I value each client that I have the privilege to meet, and I work hard to create a safe and caring environment.
